Before you all ask me why I'm letting these guys go I just want to say that they are all great dogs with no issues with either temperaments or health. I have an active breeding program that I hope is continuing to move forward and not every dog I hold back fits into my plan in the slot that I had for them. Some are also being retired after I get a son or daughter to carry on their bloodline. I could continue to breed them and just make money but that is not my way. I like to get the bloodline from my dogs to carry on my program here and then let them retire to a life of luxury as a pampered pet. Most of them have been housedogs off and on during their time here at 'Pecan Place' and are very well mannered, although a tad under socialized. (they are almost all leash and crate trained but due to the fact that I MUST keep a closed kennel now to protect my babies they don't leave home much so aren't used to traveling and a lot of strangers) I welcome your calls but I am not trying to 'get rid of' problem dogs. These are almost all my treasured pets that I want to find great retirement homes for and all will be missed by us here and have been loved and played with while with us. I usually end up crying every time I sell one of my older 'kids' but I can't offer them the retirement home I seek for them with being an active breeding kennel. I am cheered though by the fact that I have a 100% placement record for all my dogs and I love to get the photos and christmas cards from my former 'kids' in their new homes, with their new families.

| Due to a few bad eggs in the world that see nothing wrong with either lying or just taking advantage of me in a bad situation I have changed my policy on re-homing older dogs. When you buy a PET, and pay PET price then your dog/bitch will be spayed or neutered BEFORE they leave my property. Sorry that this is necessary but not ALL people are honest these days. No offense to the many honest, moral people that I do deal with daily. |
